7th grade student Nisabella K. and 6th grader Dylan R from Harmony Science Academy-Odessa have both advanced to the Texas state science fair at the UTPB Regional Science Fair. Dylan competed in the earth and environmental science category with a project about greenhouse gases, while Nisabella participated in the Robotics and Intelligent Machine category presenting a robot she programmed. “STEM curriculum was an important factor to motivate my students toward science fair. It contributed their social development. It also increased their skill of presentation. Moreover, STEM curriculum at Harmony increase their interest in being scientist and engineer,” said teacher Ali A.
