Houston Space Center CEO, Mr. Harris, and his education director, Mr. Daniel Newmyer, visited Harmony Science Academy-Houston where student ambassadors gave engaging tours of the STEM labs used to complete their STEM projects. The students presented their top of the line robots and showed how they’ve programed them to accomplish certain missions. Students also presented their microgravity project which was selected for space flight to International Space Station. This project aims to test the regeneration of worms in outer space. Mr. Harris and Mr. Newmyer showed great enthusiasm, engaging with our students and asking questions about their research. We would like to thank Houston Space Center executives for their time, and for spending their afternoon with our students.
