Vice President of Education and Leadership of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Pauline Rubio, invited Harmony School of Innovation-San Antonio students Jazmin V., Taje B., Ahmet A, and Ahtziri H to attend the event as representatives of a STEM school & civilian support for the government recognition at the 7th Annual Core4 STEM Expo. This organization brings together students, parents, and educators and partners with STEM community leaders to raise awareness for STEM education. The week long event also featured the 7th Annual Core4 STEM Expo, where Harmony students presented STEM projects to community members. This event features STEM experts who work together with community leaders to raise awareness for STEM education. With a total of 5 stations at the STEM expo, our students had plenty of time to present to large crowds about the innovative projects they are working on in the classroom. With renowned speakers, demonstrations, and the opportunity to get involved, this event is a great opportunity for our students to evolve as presenters and as STEM advocates.
