Mr. Abdulkadir Akti from Harmony School of Innovation – Fort Worth hosted a new teacher physics training designed to help new teachers understand how to implement project based learning in their classrooms, and what they can do to help students excel in the classroom. Physics teachers are asked to implement project demonstrations and essential investigations into classroom lessons, as well as know how to effectively run software to run experiments, collect and analyze data. This training for first year teachers can help educators learn about Harmony’s PBL approach and STEM SOS model. Instructional coaches are a great asset to new teachers. “Our new members all have deep physics knowledge. When they start to combine their knowledge with our highly engaging teaching model, STEM SOS, their classrooms will turn into effective learning environments with best lectures and projects,” said Mr. Akti. Thanks to teachers leaders like Mr. Akti for mentoring our new teachers and making them feel comfortable in their new roles.
