In association with INROADS, Harmony alumni were given the opportunity to spend a Saturday morning in August learning about internship opportunities with renowned companies. For several years now INROADS has been helping place students into those paid positions, that often lead to full time employment. Participants went through mock interviews, conducted by HR managers from companies like Shell, Cheniere Energy among other energy sectors. They also spent time coaching them on interview skills, as well as resume writing and business etiquette. Former Harmony student Paul Huron who interned with Shell and has now been hired as a full time employee, was at this event speaking to participants about the education opportunities Harmony provided for him and how INROADS helped him launch his career while he’s in college.
