Harmony School of Ingenuity partnered with scientists from Houston Institute of Biotechnology to host a Summer Research Program that helped our students practice high level research techniques molecular biology and genetics. For two weeks, 10 students from Houston area Harmony campuses worked closely with experienced research scientists learning the best research techniques and applying them on cutting edge tech equipment. Participants learned how to use a centrifuge to separate particles and molecules, amongother advanced science techniques. Upon completionof the program students were awarded certificates of completion, and were congratulated on a job well done. This was a unique experience for our students that will help them on their college and scholarship applications.
