Harmony Science Academy – Houston High is excited to announce that many seniors have already been admitted to top notch universities from around the country such as, UPENN, Cornell, Emory, Johns Hopkins, University of Virginia, St. Johns-Queens, UT Austin, and Texas A&M. This is a success story from a high school with 95% high risk population and nearly 85% coming from economically disadvantaged homes and minority backgrounds, almost all are going to be first generation college attendees. HSA-High was ranked 51st in the nation in America’s Most Challenging High Schools by Washington Post in 2014. The school has an AP participation rate of 92%. We are very proud of our students for believing in themselves and making their dreams come true. Huge congratulations go to these students for their hard work and outstanding accomplishments and to their teachers, counselors, and administrators for their dedicated and personalized support they give to their students throughout the year at HSA-High. This is a great success, and it wouldn’t be possible without Harmony’s core values in practice: High Expectations, Dedicated Staff, Working Together, Character Matters, STEM for All.
